This checkmark means that you consider this statistic as the range having "hit" the flop. Some of the statistics will have a red checkmark in front of them.
#FLOPZILLA TUTORIAL SOFTWARE#
If no board cards are entered, clicking on the Flopzilla logo will prompt the software to calculate how the given range will hit an undefined flop (averaged over all possible flops). All it means is that you don't hold a made hand. So just because you don't hold a made hand in the first section does not mean you don't hold (for example) a flushdraw in the second section. For example if you hold top pair+flushdraw this will be considered as top pair in the made hands section, flushdraw in the draws section and flushdraw+pair in the combo section. So this means that a statistic can be double-counted. The three types of statistics are computed independently of each other. Combinations of made hands and draws ( purple) The statistics section consists out of three parts: Whenever a change is made to the preflop range Flopzilla will detect this and automaticallyĬalculate how this range hits the undefined board. If you want to know how a range hits an undefined board (averaged over all possible flops) then all you need to do is just leave the board emptyĪnd enter a preflop range. Or, press the left/right arrow keys on your keyboard. To toggle between the flop, turn or river, you can use the arrow keys to the left/right of the board name. A river card will be indicated with an 'R'. If you enter a fourth card, it will be considered the turn (a 'T' will be displayed in its upper right). If you enter 3 cards, they will be considered as the flop. Tip: To select multiple starting hands, you can save yourself a lot of clicking by selecting a starting hand, keeping your mouse button pressed and moving over everything you want to select. To change the weight of '1', '2' or '3' you can use the slider to the right of the matrix (F). Every starting hand you select will get the corresponding weight.
However, if you click on the '1', '2' or '3' button you will enter weight mode. You can use these 4 buttons to add weights to starting hands. Also, you can enter a desired range here. This string can be exported to other software. This button will bring up a dialog that will give you a text string. With this dropdown you can select the desired hand ranking system that is used by the slider (A).ĭ) Importing/exporting a range in text format You can also click on the X% part of the slider (B) to enter a top % manually. To increase/decrease the position of the slider by one pip, click to it's left/right. There's also a negative slider to remove a top X% portion of the range. With this slider you can quickly select a range.
In this section you can enter the range for which you want to know how it hits a certain board. Here Flopzilla will tell you how often all possible hand values occur. The main interface of Flopzilla consists out of three sections:ġ) Starting hands: Here you can enter a range.Ģ) Board: Here you can enter a board, consisting out of 3, 4 or 5 cards.ģ) Statistics: This is where the output is displayed.
